Some people use lipotropic injections to aid fat loss and lose weight. The purpose of these injections is to support the metabolism of fat. However, in order to maintain a moderate weight, it is important to follow a healthy nutrition plan and to exercise regularly. Lipotropic injections are not a substitute for these healthful habits.
During this initial assessment, a thorough case history will be reviewed. Physical exam(s) and/or laboratory investigation may be performed.
The consultation may take up to 30 minutes.
If it is determined that you are a good candidate for intramuscular lipotropic injection(s), the injection may be performed after the initial assessment is complete.

Aging can lead to lower vitamin B12 absorption from food which may be due to a reduced production of intrinsic factors as we age. Intrinsic factors are a substance produced in the stomach which aids in vitamin absorption, either from food or oral vitamins. This reduced absorption may exacerbate chronic fatigue or anemia.

Potential benefits of Vitamin B12 injections may include:
Improved energy and stamina, improved sleep quality and duration, increased metabolism and energy, improved mental clarity and mood, reduced depression and cognitive decline, balanced immune system, improved digestive system, as well as healthier looking hair, skin, and nails.

PRP is blood plasma with concentrated platelets. The concentrated platelets contain huge reservoirs of bioactive proteins including growth factors, which increase stem cell production. These bioactive proteins initiate connective tissue healing which helps bone/tendon/ligament regeneration and repair, promotes the development of new blood vessels, and stimulates the wound healing process. PRP may be applied to help address the following: thinning hair, crow’s feet, lip and frown lines, deepened nasolabial folds, cheek volume loss, sagging jaw line, dehydrated skin, loss of youthful texture and tone, back of the hands, decolletage, knees, thighs, arms and stomach.
The average treatment timeline is 3-4 treatments spread 4-6 weeks apart each. Maintenance treatments are recommended once every 9-12 months thereafter
PRP is a safe treatment, as it is autologous (of cells or tissues from the same individual).
Results are not immediate. One may expect minimal swelling, bruising and/or redness for 12-24 hours. Bruising at the needle site may be visible for a few days. Patients start to see improvements beginning around 3 weeks post-treatment. The skin may feel more hydrated and a finer texture may become more evident. Collagen takes 3 months to mature, therefore, results continue to improve over this time.

Intravenous (IV) Nutrient Therapy

IV vitamin therapy was pioneered by Dr. John Myers. He formulated what’s referred to as the Myers’ Cocktail: a blend of water-soluble vitamins and minerals administered by an intravenous drip. IV vitamin therapy was pioneered by Dr. John Myers. He formulated what’s referred to as the Myers’ Cocktail: a blend of water-soluble vitamins and minerals administered by an intravenous drip. This delivery mechanism, with better absorption compared to any other form of nutrient delivery, enabled naturopathic doctors to support vitamin, mineral, and amino acid deficiencies, such as a deficiency in vitamin B12. But it’s not just deficiencies of nutrients that IV vitamin therapy is good for; it may also be one of the foremost ways to rehydrate the body!
IV Therapy may benefit the following:
* Chronic fatigue
* Burnout and chronic stress
* Detoxification
* Fibromyalgia
* Headaches/Migraines
* Poor immune function
* Athletic Support – Rehydration and Recovery
Each patient is assessed with regards to their specific goals and health status. A thorough health history will be taken prior to administration of any IV therapy to rule out any risk factors. The physician will also asses any medication(s) the patient is on. Patients on blood thinners cannot receive IV's.
IV therapies have been prescribed by doctors for over a century.
Please ensure you are well hydrated and that you have eaten within an hour before any IV treatment.
The visit can last from 20-60 minutes.
